ER Sealed Jet Collets
Highlights
ISCAR introduces a new updated family of ER rubber sealed collets featuring 4 cooling jets with a single diameter, non-collapsible design to fit cutting tool shanks exactly.
Features:
- Maximum collapse 0.2 mm / 0.008 in.
- A range of imperial sizes added to the portfolio of sizes.
- 4 cooling jets.
- 8-slot design.
The new ER sealed jet collets offer the following advantages:
- AA grade: Runout accuracy of 0.005 mm / 0.0002 in.
- Increased rigidity.
- Higher accuracy.
- Better clamping force.
- Consistent repeatability.
ISCAR continues its ongoing strategy for improvement.
The sealed jet collets comply with ISCAR’s high finishing standards:
- Special coating to increase wear resistance and improve corrosion protection.
- High surface finish to guarantee consistent repeatability and prolonged runout.
Because of single diameter design, imperial sealed jet collets should be used for tools with inch shank dimensions.
Sets of metric sealed jet collets were changed according to this publication.
New sets of imperial sizes sealed jet collets have been added:

3396504 SET ER20 S 7 AA JET INCH
3396505 SET ER25 S 9 AA JET INCH
3396506 SET ER32 S 11 AA JET INCH
3396507 SET ER40 S 6 AA JET INCH
Due to low demand, sets of metric sealed jet collets with even dimensions are phased out.
Phaseout
The existing ER SEAL JET2 collets with 1 mm clamping range will be phased out.
